DEBAG is providing innovative baking and refrigeration technology for several stands, including the trade fair stand of the Central Association of the German Bakers Academy (Zentralverband der Akademie Deutsches Bäckerhandwerk e. V.) – another important step to support traditional baking.
International Green Week in Berlin is the world’s largest trade fair for food, agriculture and gardening. More than 1,600 exhibitors will attend this year, including key food industry representatives, wholesalers, retailers and caterers. More than 100,000 products from Germany, Europe and all over the world will be exhibited.
DEBAG has a comprehensive portfolio of production and shop ovens, cooling and proving technology, and control and networking software, so it can supply all solutions directly. In total, DEBAG has fitted six trade fair stands at the 83nd Green Week with eight oven stations, 14 fully automatic proofers and various accessories, highlighting once again DEBAG’s commitment to the future of bakers and baking. “Our aim is to deliver innovative products to the baking trade that will help to overcome the challenges faced by a market for bakery products that is in transition and to open up the snack market as a new field of business – in Germany, Europe and all around the world”, explains DEBAG Sales Manager, Oliver Theiß.
DEBAG is extending its support for the next generation of bakers throughout Germany
DEBAG believes that it is vital to promote the next generation of bakers. The company started by installing innovative DEBAG baking and refrigeration technology at the vocational college for food and home economics inBautzen (Berufliches Schulzentrum für Ernährung und Hauswirtschaft) and the German Bakers Academy in Dresden (Akademie Deutsches Bäckerhandwerk Sachsen e.V.), both places where baking seminars initiated by DEBAG now regularly take place. For its next step since October 2016, DEBAG has been one of the five official supports of the “Back Dir Deine Zukunft” (Bake Your Future) campaign to promote future bakers, supporting future bakers throughout Germany. The campaign was launched by the Central Association of German Bakers (Zentralverband des Deutschen Bäckerhandwerkes) and is aimed specifically at encouraging young people into the baking profession with a modern website, a lot of social media activities and a large job board.
